Nestled in the foothills above Sage, Ca. at 3900ft elevation, between Temecula and Hemet.......Cowpony Camp is just a 15-20 minute drive and has a lot of unique things to offer.

Come ride with us and enjoy hundreds of national forest trails with beautiful spring flowers or take a riding lesson in our main arena. Learn how to work cattle, rope, sort, barrel race or just regular horsemanship lessons. We have so much to offer.......there is just too much to list!

Our trails range from novice easy rides to steep mountains with seasonal creeks to cross, it all depends on your level of experience and spirit of adventure. Our cattle can be used for sorting, team roping, training colts, freeing up a sour arena horse and more. Everything we offer is based on SAFETY FIRST! You will never be advanced to the next level until we feel you are ready and you are comfortable to move on.

Start out on one of our people loving gentle horses of different levels or bring your own. We offer lessons to children (age 4 & up) to adults. Bring your own horse for lessons if you are having problems with him/her, we specialize in problem horses and novice riders.

Our summers are mostly mild with afternoon mountain breezes, winters are nice with an occasional snow, spring is absolutely breathtaking with wildflowers and creeks. Fall is also lovely up here in our little mountains, come join us any time of year. Each trail offers a different view of 6 or 7 different mountain ranges, Diamond Valley lake, Lake Skinner, Temecula Wine Country, Cactus Valley, Hemet Valley and on clear days you can have a peek at the Ocean over 65 miles away!  But one thing is for sure...........the sunsets are ALWAYS breathtaking!
